GREENOLA STYLE Trip to Bolivia Recap

Posted on March 30, 2015 by Bold Apps

Last month, our founder (Jen) and lead designer (Liz) went on GREENOLA STYLE's bi-annual trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia. While there, they met with each of our artisan groups to go over new product designs, check-in on production for our spring products, and celebrate our achievements from 2014. Here are some highlights from their trip!

Jen and Liz with our artisan partner Karina and her mother during Carnaval. Karina makes our Goya Studs and Paco Studs.

One of our artisan partners, Magdalena, and her son. Magdalena works at Ulala, our alpaca knitwear group.

View of Cochabamba, where most of our Bolivian artisan groups are based.

Vasilia and Beatriz from Tikas going over Fall 2015 designs with Liz. Tikas makes our repurposed acai and bombona seed jewelry, such as our new spring Cochabamba Necklace (available in three colorways)

Norma and Freddie with their dog Bebe. Norma's Workshop makes our repurposed aguayo fabric jewelry and our bestselling Elizabeth Rings and Calypso Rings

Jen and Liz with the Ulala Cooperative artisans, who make our alpaca knitwear. Select styles are now on sale!

And last, but not least, Jen and Liz were able to hold a special lunch with all of our artisan groups to celebrate their hard work and huge achievements from last year. It was a wonderful way to come together and celebrate.
