The artisan producers of our Alpaca accessories are located in the commercial community of Villa Pagador. The Ulala Cooperative was initially formed under the direction of the Bolivian non-profit, IFFI (Instituto de Formacion Femenina Integral) which works to combat social, economic, and cultural equality issues that many Bolivian women face. The managing guidelines of this cooperative promote active citizenship and empowerment of women's organizations, through training processes, and a generation of information and knowledge. This cooperative is both a family and a workplace, allowing women to express themselves as artists, businesswomen, and equal citizens of their communities. As our longest working cooperative partnership, we've celebrated many impactful successes in the lives and growth of this group.
