Born and raised in Cochabamba, Karina uses her handcrafted, repurposed glass jewelry to express herself. She describes each of her pieces as being carefully crafted “del corazon” (from the heart), and she hopes all who wear her jewelry feel this. Using glass fusion techniques to create unique beads and pendants, no two pieces of hers are the same in recognition of the fact that “No two women are the same. Each woman’s beauty is unique.” In partnership with GREENOLA STYLE, Karina has grown her handmade jewelry into a small workshop, employing her extended family. She's motivated by a deep love for her country and her community, and looks forward to growing her business in the hopes that her work will better the economy, environment, and standard of living for women in Cochabamba.
